The NLIU Lecture on Banking and Finance Laws is part of CBCL’s continued efforts to bridge the gap between legal theory and practice. The lecture for the 2024–25 session was delivered by Mr. Manraj Singh, Partner at Wadia Ghandy & Co., and a distinguished alumnus of NLIU, Bhopal. The session focused on the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act, a key piece of legislation in the Indian banking and finance space.

The speaker drew on his extensive professional experience to explain the practical implications of SARFAESI, offering participants a nuanced perspective on asset reconstruction, enforcement mechanisms, and the evolving jurisprudence around the Act.
